KARACHI – A very well known literary personality Syed Fareed Hussain who was the General Secretary Bazm-e-Farogh-e-Adab-o-Fan and the founder of Fareed Publishers died of a short illness. People knew him all over through his work in Urdu also he dedicated his whole life to the cause of reading and promoting literary culture.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed on Monday, July 21, following Zuhr prayer, Farooq-e-Azam Mosque, near Khan Broast, Block 13, Federal B. Area, Karachi.
Syed Fareed Hussain engaged himself greatly in arranging literary meets, bringing out significant books as well as encouraging new talents in Urdu literature. He introduced good educational and literary content into the national scene of Pakistan through Fareed Publishers.
His death is a big loss to the literature and publishing world. Their condolences and adornment of the great legacy of his work are being paid by the writers, poets, and other cultural representatives all over the country.
