Bollywood actress and producer Alia Bhatt has showered praise on the new talents Ahaan Panday, actress Aneet Padda, and director Mohit Suri following the successful release of their film ‘Saiyaara’.
On Saturday, Alia shared a heartfelt post on Instagram featuring a photo of Ahaan, Aneet, and Mohit. She expressed deep admiration for the debutants and the entire team behind the film.
In her caption, Alia wrote:
“It’s safe to say… two beautiful, magical STARS are born @aneetpadda_ @ahaanpandayy, I don’t remember the last time I looked at two actors with such awe. With stars in my eyes. Watching the stars in yours. You both shine with such individuality, such honesty, I could watch you again, and again, and again. (And let’s be honest… I probably will.) I’ve already gushed to you both individually but clearly, once was not enough.”
She further praised Mohit Suri, calling him the “captain of this very wonderful ship” and lauding the film’s impact:
“What a film. What feeling. What music!!!!!!!! You made me feel things that only the movies can make you feel. Saiyaara is full of heart, full of soul, full of something that just stays with you… in the best way.”
Alia congratulated the entire team and the production house Yash Raj Films (YRF), calling the movie not just a film, but a “moment.”
Mohit Suri and Alia Bhatt share a familial connection; Mohit is Alia’s first cousin once removed. Mohit’s mother, Heena, is the sister of Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt. Mohit’s directorial debut, ‘Zeher’, released in 2005, while Alia made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with ‘Student of the Year’.
Though Mohit’s debut was under the family banner Vishesh Films, Alia chose to start her career independently under Karan Johar’s banner with Student of the Year.
The heartfelt appreciation from one of Bollywood’s leading actresses highlights the fresh wave of talent entering the industry through ‘Saiyaara’, promising exciting new stars on the horizon.
