Karachi: Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) held its Annual Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) with active participation from parents of students belonging to various academic departments. The meeting aimed to review students’ academic performance, discipline, attendance, and overall development.
Parents from departments including Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Civil, Biomedical, CIT, Software, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Chemical Technology attended the session in large numbers. Heads of Departments and faculty members held one-on-one discussions with parents, sharing detailed feedback on students’ progress and suggesting measures for improvement.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal AIT, Mr. Shahid Jamil, emphasized that strong coordination between parents and teachers is essential for students’ success. He stated that the institute is committed not only to academic excellence but also to character building and holistic development.
Convener AIT, Syed Mohammad Mohsin Kazim, highlighted that PTMs help identify students’ weaknesses at an early stage and provide timely guidance to keep them on the right track.
The meeting concluded in a positive and constructive environment. Parents appreciated the institute’s efforts and expressed their desire for such meaningful interactions to be held regularly in the future.
