Lahore: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has achieved a major breakthrough against a drug trafficking network targeting youth in Lahore’s upscale areas.
According to ANF officials, a woman-led drug syndicate, assisted by her daughters, was supplying narcotics including cocaine, ecstasy, weed, and methamphetamine (ice) to clients in Defence and other affluent neighborhoods.
Acting on credible intelligence, ANF teams conducted three coordinated raids across Lahore. During the operation, the prime suspect — a woman — and her driver were arrested from the DHA area, while significant quantities of cocaine, ice, and weed were recovered from their possession.
Subsequent searches at residences located in DHA and HBFC Housing Society led to the recovery of additional narcotics, including 5 kilograms of methamphetamine (ice), 120 grams of cocaine, 232 ecstasy pills, 280 grams of weed, and 70 bottles of liquor.
ANF officials confirmed that the suspect’s daughters managed to flee during the raids. However, follow-up operations are underway to apprehend them and dismantle the entire network.
