Caracas, Venezuela — At least 32 people have been killed and more than 700 injured after two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, causing widespread damage across several regions of the country.

The twin tremors damaged homes, roads, and public infrastructure, while rescue teams rushed to search for survivors trapped beneath collapsed buildings. Emergency services and humanitarian organizations have been deployed to assist affected communities.

Authorities warned that casualty figures could rise as search-and-rescue operations continue. Officials have also urged residents to remain cautious due to the risk of aftershocks.

The disaster has left thousands of people in need of shelter and emergency assistance as recovery efforts continue across the affected areas.
