A massive fire broke out at a factory located in the Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) in the Landhi area on Thursday, leaving at least seven people injured, according to officials.
Authorities confirmed that the intensity of the blaze caused the factory building to collapse. Emergency teams and rescue personnel are currently engaged in efforts to search for any individuals who may be trapped beneath the rubble.
Police and fire brigade officials are on-site, while ambulances have been dispatched to transport the injured to nearby hospitals. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
