Australia have suffered yet another setback before the opening Test of the Ashes against England, following the unavailability of Pat Cummins and Sean Abbott.
According to Cricket Australia, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been sidelined due to a hamstring strain, ruling him out of the first Test. In his place, Michael Neser has been added to the squad.
Earlier, Sean Abbott was already ruled out with a hamstring injury, while Pat Cummins is also unavailable for the opening match due to a back issue.
It is worth mentioning that the first Test of the Ashes series between Australia and England will begin on November 21 in Perth.
