Assured Government collaboration in HPV vaccination against cervical cancer among girls aged between 9 and 14 All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association has declared its full cooperation with the government in its HPV vaccination drive against cervical cancer.
The chairman Haider Ali stated that the vaccination process will be implemented with parental consent by the use of private institutions as is done in Punjab. Vaccination will be done among girls in grades six to eight in the presence of their parents.
He made it very clear that students who do not have the consent of their parents would not be incorporated in this stage of the drive. Health teams will help to fix a schedule of vaccinations and inform parents about them in advance.
General Secretary D.M. Danish Baloch pointed out that the health department will be given voluntary assistance by all schools and authorities are urged to be on full alert in regard to observing the necessary safety measures during the campaign.
