Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a Bangladeshi national for illegally obtaining a Pakistani Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) through forgery.
According to FIA spokespersons, the arrest was carried out by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi. The suspect, identified as Fazal Haq, was living illegally in Pakistan and had acquired the CNIC using forged documents.
Authorities confirmed that the fraudulent CNIC had been blocked and that the suspect has been taken into custody for further investigation.
