Karachi– In a major anti-corruption move, Chinese President Xi Jinping has expelled two top military generals from both the army and the Communist Party. Among those dismissed are Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) He Weidong and former head of political affairs Miao Hua.
According to Defense Ministry spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang, disciplinary action was taken against nine senior military officials in total. The spokesperson added that this step marks a significant move toward building a transparent, united, and combat-ready system.
