TANK — Two people were killed while two others sustained injuries during an exchange of fire between two groups in Tank on Saturday. The bodies and injured were shifted to a hospital for medicolegal formalities, while police have launched a search for the suspects involved in the killings.
In Karachi, police claimed to have killed an alleged robber, identified as Ghulam Qadir, during an encounter. Officials stated that the suspect was wanted in several cases of serious crimes. Further investigations are underway.
Meanwhile, in Muridke, two individuals — Ali Raza and Zeeshan — were injured in a shootout between rival groups and were shifted to a hospital. Police have started an inquiry into the incident.
In Kasur, police arrested five drug peddlers and two beggars during a search operation. A large quantity of narcotics was recovered from the suspects.
