Customs Enforcement Quetta, with the support of Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps (North) Balochistan, has seized smuggled goods worth Rs. 36.8 crore during two successful intelligence-based operations.

The confiscated items included foreign cigarette brands such as Benson & Hedges, Marlboro, and 555, as well as Indian gutkha, tires, chewing tobacco, and cigarette paper.

Authorities said the operations, carried out based on verified secret information, reflect Customs Enforcement Quetta’s ongoing efforts to prevent smuggling and protect the national economy. The effective coordination and timely support of Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps played a key role in the success of these actions.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) reaffirmed its commitment to taking strict measures against smuggling, illegal trade, and corruption in the country.
