Lahore – Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has been booked in Lahore on charges of gambling promotion and fraud under multiple sections of cybercrime and penal laws, according to law enforcement sources
The case, registered as FIR No. 196/2025, invokes provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) — Sections 13, 14, 25, and 26 — along with Sections 420 (fraud) and 294-B (obscene acts and songs) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Authorities allege that Ducky Bhai was actively involved in promoting gambling activities by endorsing online betting and casino-style applications. Investigators claim these promotions encouraged youth engagement in gambling and related illegal practices.
According to officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), key digital evidence has been recovered from the YouTuber’s mobile phone, supporting the charges. “The investigation is ongoing and further revelations are expected,” an NCCIA spokesperson confirmed.
Ducky Bhai, who commands millions of subscribers on YouTube and is among Pakistan’s most influential digital creators, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the allegations. The case has stirred debate on social media, with fans divided over whether the charges are legitimate or an attempt to target the influencer.
Legal experts note that if proven, the charges could lead to heavy fines, a possible ban on his online platforms, and imprisonment under both PECA and PPC provisions.
