Multiple loud explosions were reported late Friday night in the cities of Rawalpindi and Lahore, prompting swift responses from law enforcement and rescue teams.
Explosions Heard in Rawalpindi and Lahore; Indian Attack Allegedly Foiled Near Nur Khan Airbase
According to initial reports, two blasts were heard in Rawalpindi, one of which occurred near the Nur Khan Airbase in the Chaklala area. Police immediately cordoned off the vicinity, while rescue teams were dispatched to the site.
Security sources claim that an attempted Indian attack near the strategically important airbase was successfully thwarted. However, there has been no official confirmation yet from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) or the Ministry of Defence.
