Pakistan’s white-ball cricket head coach Mike Hesson has travelled back to his home country New Zealand for a short vacation.
Before leaving Lahore, Hesson shared a message on social media, saying, “My face may look tired, but I’m genuinely happy.”
He added that he is beginning a long journey back home to New Zealand and has been missing his family, so he will spend a few weeks’ break with them.
Hesson expressed satisfaction, saying the season ending on a winning note made him very pleased and that the players performed exceptionally well.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan white-ball team has no upcoming commitments for the next few weeks.
Pakistan’s T20 squad will tour Sri Lanka in the first week of January for a three-match series.
Meanwhile, the Australian T20 side is scheduled to visit Pakistan in the last week of January, and following the home series against Australia, the Pakistan team will travel to Sri Lanka for the T20 World Cup.
