Eid ul-Adha is being celebrated across the country with great religious fervor and devotion. On this occasion, health experts have urged the public to enjoy festive meals, but to practice moderation especially when consuming meat and spicy dishes.

‎‎According to medical professionals, overeating meat in the intense summer heat can lead to indigestion, gas, and other digestive issues. A notable rise in gastro-related cases is commonly observed right after Eid, particularly when meat is not cooked properly.

‎‎Experts have also advised individuals with heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions to be especially cautious. To aid digestion, they recommend incorporating fruits, ginger, and jaggery into the diet.
