Health experts have warned that while enjoying Eid-ul-Adha feasts, people should not abandon moderation.
Experts have advised people to go easy on meat and spicy foods during this period, saying that excessive meat consumption in hot weather can cause indigestion.
According to experts, a sharp increase in gastro cases is observed immediately after Eid-ul-Adha, and if meat is not cooked properly, stomach and intestinal problems increase.
People suffering from heart disease, diabetes and other illnesses have been advised to take special precautions, while the use of fruits, ginger and jaggery has been recommended to improve digestion.
