How Many People Are Affected by Dengue? Report Released

As dengue continues to surge across the province, the Director General Health Sindh has issued a report detailing how many people are being affected daily.

‎According to the report, 113 new dengue patients have been admitted to government hospitals in Sindh, while the Health Department stated that 57 new cases were reported in private hospitals today.

‎The spokesperson said that 44 dengue patients are under treatment in government hospitals in Karachi, 35 in Hyderabad, and 34 cases have been reported from other districts of Sindh.

‎The spokesperson further informed that a total of 241 dengue patients are currently under treatment in hospitals across the province.

‎According to the DG Health report, 3 more patients died due to dengue one from Karachi and two from Hyderabad. A total of 5,229 samples were tested, out of which 774 tested positive.
