A shooting incident at a wedding ceremony in Swat Colony, Baldia Town Sector 5, Karachi, left one person dead and seven others, including a child, injured on Wednesday.
Police said the incident occurred following an argument between guests and the suspect, Aamir Musa, who opened fire after a minor dispute.
A heavy police and rescue team responded to the scene, and the deceased’s body along with the injured were immediately shifted to a hospital.
Authorities added that the suspect’s vehicle has been seized, but he managed to flee the scene. Special teams have been formed to track and apprehend him, and he will be taken into custody for legal action soon.
