Karachi is experiencing an intense heatwave today, with temperatures soaring to 97°F (36°C) and humidity levels making conditions even more oppressive. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a heat advisory for the city, warning residents to take precautions as the mercury is expected to remain high throughout the day.
According to PMD forecasts, Karachi will see a high of 98°F (37°C) and a low of 80°F (27°C) today. The extreme heat, coupled with high humidity, has created challenging conditions, with the RealFeel® temperature reaching as high as 111°F (44°C). Light westerly winds of about 5 mph (8 km/h) are providing minimal relief.
