Karachi — Yet another tragic road accident has shaken the city as a speeding water tanker ran over a motorcyclist in the Korangi Industrial Area on Thursday, leaving one man dead on the spot.
According to police officials, the water tanker was traveling at high speed when the driver lost control and hit the motorcyclist. The victim succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive. The driver fled the scene immediately after the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported that the tanker had ignored multiple traffic signals before the collision. Law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation to locate and arrest the driver.
Residents of the area have expressed deep concern over the rising number of accidents involving heavy vehicles, demanding stricter action against reckless driving and improved enforcement of traffic laws in Karachi.
