A 15 kilogram tumor was successfully removed from a woman’s abdomen during surgery at Lyari General Hospital in Karachi.
According to Dr. Anjum Rehman, head of Lyari General Hospital, the tumor was safely removed from the abdomen of a woman from Thatta. The 38 year old mother of five childrens was brought to the emergency department in critical condition.
The hospital head stated that initial medical tests had already indicated the presence of a large and heavy tumor. The case was complex, but a team of specialists successfully removed the tumor through surgery.
Dr. Anjum Rehman further said that the patient’s condition is now stable after the operation.
