Pleasant Weather in Karachi as Temperature Drops Below Normal

KARACHI — The weather in Karachi remained pleasant on Tuesday, October 8, 2025, with temperatures staying two to three degrees below the city’s seasonal average, providing residents with a brief respite from the usual early-October heat.

According to the latest data, the maximum temperature ranged between 32°C and 33°C, while the city’s normal average for this period is around 35.5°C. Humidity levels were recorded between 35% and 40%, creating relatively comfortable weather conditions throughout the day.

During the previous night, the northern and eastern areas of Karachi experienced cooler conditions, with minimum temperatures between 20°C and 24°C. Meanwhile, central, western, and southern districts recorded slightly higher lows, ranging from 25°C to 27°C.

The lowest temperature in the city was reported in Gadap Town (Kathore), where the mercury dropped to 17.5°C due to dry winds blowing from Balochistan, significantly cooling the area.

Meteorologists predict that the weather will continue to remain mild and slightly chilly at night. Minimum temperatures tonight are expected to hover around 20°C to 23°C in the northern and eastern zones and 24°C to 26°C in other parts of the city. Light humidity is likely to persist, maintaining a pleasant and crisp atmosphere across Karachi.
