The Punjab Health Department has issued orders for significant appointments and transfers at senior positions in two major hospitals of Lahore.
According to a notification by the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Dr. Abdul Mudabbir Rehan has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mayo Hospital, Lahore. He was previously serving as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore.
Similarly, Dr. Arif Iftikhar has been appointed as the Medical Superintendent of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. Prior to this, he was serving as the Principal Medical Officer at the same hospital.
