A new merit criteria has been issued for the recruitment of doctors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to a new notification issued by the Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 60 percent weightage will be given to academic marks in the recruitment of doctors.
As per the notification, candidates will receive 20 percent additional marks for higher education, while 20 percent marks have been allocated for interviews, with the total score set at 100.
In addition, a new grading system has been introduced to ensure greater transparency in merit, under which marks will be further distributed according to first, second, and third division degrees.
According to the notification, 10, 15, and 20 marks will be awarded for one, two, and three additional degrees respectively.
The new merit criteria for the recruitment of doctors will be implemented immediately.
