Pakistan’s star pacer Mohammad Amir has officially joined the newly formed franchise Quetta Qavalry for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League 2025, marking another major step in his flourishing franchise cricket career.

The franchise unveiled Amir in a grand announcement, calling him “The Desert Spear — The Global Legend of Quetta Qavalry.” His inclusion is being seen as a massive boost to the team’s bowling lineup ahead of the league, which is scheduled to take place from November 18 to 30, 2025, in the UAE capital.

Amir, known for his lethal swing and experience across global leagues, will lead the pace attack for Quetta Qavalry in their debut season. The 33-year-old left-arm fast bowler has represented Pakistan in 62 T20 internationals, taking 65 wickets, while his overall T20 record boasts 458 wickets in 348 matches at an economy of 7.15 — a testament to his consistency and skill.

Alongside Amir, the team has signed several other international stars, including Sikandar Raza, Imran Tahir, Liam Livingstone, Jason Holder, Andries Gous, and Muhammad Waseem. The experienced Yasir Arafat will serve as the team’s head coach, while Nadeem Omar, owner of the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League, owns the Quetta Qavalry as well.

The franchise aims to make a strong debut with a balanced combination of experience and explosive talent. With Amir spearheading the attack and a power-packed lineup featuring international all-rounders and hard-hitters, Quetta Qavalry is expected to be one of the teams to watch in the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2025.

Cricket fans are already buzzing with excitement as the veteran pacer prepares to bring his trademark aggression and precision to the shortest format of the game once again — this time in the desert heat of Abu Dhabi.
