In Balochistan’s Musa Khel area of Cheena Khundi, eight people have died of cholera.
According to reports, Musa Khel District Health Officer Abdul Ghaffar Khetran said that the deceased include six children and two men.
DHO Abdul Ghaffar Khetran stated that the eight deaths occurred over the past four days, and the situation is now under control.
He said that medical teams from Loralai and Barkhan have reached Musa Khel, while the Director General Health has sent medicines from Quetta.
According to the DHO Musa Khel, a government school has been converted into a temporary hospital, and samples of drinking water from the area have been collected.
