The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has seized an additional Rs200 million from the residence of the main accused, Qaiser Iqbal, in the Kohistan corruption case, taking the total recovery to Rs2 billion, officials confirmed.
According to sources, a NAB team conducted a second raid at Qaiser Iqbal’s residence, where a hidden stash of Rs200 million was recovered. The bureau said that further recoveries are underway as part of the ongoing investigation into the large-scale embezzlement case.
The Kohistan case involves allegations of massive misuse of public funds and illegal financial dealings by government officials and contractors. NAB has vowed to continue its crackdown against corruption and recover looted national wealth.
