The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) to establish its largest mega centre in Karachi’s Gulberg Town.
According to Nadra’s spokesperson, the new mega centre will operate six days a week and remain functional 24 hours a day. The facility will offer multiple services under one roof, including passport processing, thalassaemia tests, arms licence issuance, and other related services. A special section will also be reserved for senior citizens to ensure faster and easier service.
Additionally, the Nadra zonal office for Karachi’s Central District will also be located inside the same building.
Residents of nearby areas such as Ayesha Manzil, Sakhi Hassan, North Nazimabad, New Karachi, Federal B Area and Liaquatabad are expected to benefit the most from this project, as it will make essential identity and registration services more accessible and efficient.
