The construction of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology Hospital in Sargodha has been completed.
According to the Provincial Minister for Construction, the project, built at a cost of 9.86 billion rupees, has been completed within the stipulated timeframe of December 2025.
Provincial Minister Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath said that the hospital, spread over an area of 97 kanals, will provide complete and quality treatment facilities for heart diseases. The hospital has been equipped with state of the art medical equipment and modern facilities to ensure the public has access to the best possible treatment.
He further stated that with the completion of this project, patients from Sargodha and surrounding areas will no longer need to travel to major cities for cardiac treatment, leading to a significant improvement in the healthcare sector.
