Lower Dir: A tragic incident unfolded in the Badwan area where a nine-year-old boy, identified as Afnan, was brutally murdered after being kidnapped.
According to police, the child, who had gone missing a day earlier, was found slain with severe head injuries caused by repeated blows with stones. His body was discovered abandoned in a deserted location.
A case has been registered at the Chakdara Police Station, and an investigation has been launched.
Following the recovery of the body, residents placed the child’s remains on the road and staged a protest, demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible.
