The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has reported that during the Islamic month of Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH, more than 1.4 million pilgrims performed Umrah. On average, each Umrah was completed within 116 minutes, reflecting improved organization and crowd management.

According to the report, 92% of pilgrims performed Tawaf within the Mataf area of Masjid al-Haram, taking an average of 42 minutes to complete. The Sa’i between Safa and Marwah hills averaged around 46 minutes.

Authorities noted that enhanced planning and technological coordination have significantly eased the flow of pilgrims and reduced overcrowding in the Grand Mosque.

The report further highlighted that these measures have made the spiritual experience of Umrah more peaceful and comfortable, ensuring a smoother journey for millions of visitors.
