Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has cautioned that the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan could break down if both sides fail to maintain restraint and mutual trust. Speaking to the media, he said that recent incidents along the border have raised concerns about the durability of the understanding. Asif stressed that Pakistan remains committed to peace but will not compromise on national security. He urged Afghanistan to honor its commitments and work jointly to prevent escalation.
