Pakistan Develops Medical Aid Framework for Palestinian People

Geneva – May 21, 2025: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, met with Palestinian Health Minister Dr. Maged Abu Ramadan during the ongoing World Health Assembly in Geneva to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Minister Kamal announced that Pakistan has developed a comprehensive medical assistance framework for the people of Palestine. The key components of the framework include: Supplying essential medicines, surgical tools, and medical equipment to hospitals in Gaza Deployment of specialized Pakistani medical teams to affected areas Training of local healthcare workers and providing psychological support Syed Mustafa Kamal emphasized that Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure has been severely damaged, and Pakistan is stepping in to provide critical humanitarian aid to support the injured and displaced population
