ISLAMABAD, October 18  Good news for those planning to perform Hajj 2026 under the private scheme. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended the booking deadline by five days, giving applicants more time to secure their slots.

According to official sources, private Hajj operators were originally required to complete all bookings by October 17, but the ministry has now pushed the deadline to October 22, 2025. The decision aims to accommodate those who faced delays in completing their registration or payments.

Reports suggest that around 55,500 seats have already been booked under the private Hajj quota, while approximately 4,500 seats are still available for new applicants.

Officials say this move will help ensure maximum participation and a smoother process for both pilgrims and organizers. The ministry has also urged approved private Hajj companies to expedite remaining formalities before the new deadline.

The Hajj 2026 arrangements  including flight schedules, accommodation, and package details  are expected to be finalized by the end of this year.
