Pakistan’s athletes delivered a remarkable performance at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2025 held in Amman, Jordan. Star competitor Bano Kousar won the gold medal in the women’s 48kg contact ju-jitsu category, making history for Pakistan on the continental stage.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Yousuf and Umar Yaseen also secured podium finishes, adding to Pakistan’s total of six medals at the event. Coaches praised the athletes’ dedication and hard work, noting this success as a promising sign for future international tournaments.

The Pakistan Jiu-Jitsu Federation has announced plans to further invest in talent development, hoping to build on this momentum for the upcoming World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
