Pakistan Under-19 booked their place in the tournament final after defeating Bangladesh Under-19 by eight wickets in the second semi-final played in Dubai.
Batting first, Bangladesh U19 were bowled out for 121 in 26.3 overs, failing to build any significant partnerships against a disciplined Pakistan bowling attack. Pakistan’s bowlers kept tight lines and applied constant pressure, restricting Bangladesh to a modest total.
In reply, Pakistan U19 chased down the target comfortably, reaching 122 for 2 in just 16.3 overs. Sameer Minhas starred with an unbeaten 69 off 57 balls, anchoring the chase with maturity and composure. He was well supported by Usman Khan, who scored 27, as Pakistan cruised to victory without any major hiccups.
With this emphatic win, Pakistan U19 have secured a much-anticipated final against arch-rivals India. The blockbuster final is scheduled to be played on Sunday, promising a thrilling contest between the two traditional rivals.
