Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal has said that Pakistan’s health sector is moving toward improvement.
Speaking at a conference in Ankara, Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal said that modern research is essential for the development of the health sector. He said people visit hospitals even for minor illnesses, and the government is improving healthcare facilities at the regional level.
Mustafa Kamal said that Pakistan is gradually becoming self sufficient in the field of vaccines, with work underway on nearly 30 vaccines. He added that world class medicines are being produced locally in Pakistan, with around 85 quality medicines being manufactured.
The federal minister further stated that extensive efforts are underway in Pakistan for polio eradication.
