Patients receiving treatment at the Peshawar Burn Center have been deprived of medical care under the Sehat Card program.

‎Attendants have complained that they are bearing the cost of treatment themselves and appealed to the provincial government for assistance. They further stated that they are purchasing medicines and conducting lab tests at their own expense.

‎The Burn Center administration stated that patients are being provided free treatment facilities and that treatment under the Sehat Card will begin from December 1. However, plastic surgery services will not be available.
