Islamabad | Oct 23, 2025:
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has confirmed that MDCAT 2025 will take place as planned, dismissing all rumors of a further delay.
In an official statement on Thursday, the council responded to recent student protests and arrests, assuring that all examination arrangements have been completed. Examination halls across provinces are booked, and provincial authorities have finalized preparations to ensure a smooth and peaceful test process.
The PMDC revealed that question papers have been printed and admit cards issued, while the registration portal was reopened twice to accommodate all candidates.
Earlier, the test date was extended for students affected by floods, but the Islamabad High Court has now rejected additional requests for postponement.
With over 140,000 students registered, the council reiterated that “no further delay in the MDCAT examination is possible,” urging candidates to focus on their final preparations.
