Health experts say that potassium can significantly reduce the risk of complex health issues, including up to a 20 percent reduction in the risk of stroke and up to a 24 percent reduction in cardiovascular disease.

‎According to experts, millions of people worldwide are unaware that they are suffering from potassium deficiency. This deficiency not only increases the chances of heart attack and stroke but also leads to other lesser known symptoms.

‎Professor John Young of Teesside University stated that poor dietary habits, particularly the consumption of ultra processed foods and excessive salt intake, are major causes of low potassium levels.

‎Potassium plays a vital role in the body. It regulates nerve signals, supports muscle contractions, maintains a balanced heartbeat, and helps control blood pressure by reducing the effects of sodium (salt).

‎Experts say that even a mild deficiency can cause symptoms such as muscle cramps, constipation, and headaches. In severe cases, it can lead to confusion, depression, irregular heartbeat, digestive issues, and breathing problems, and if left untreated, it may result in serious health complications.
