Residents across Punjab can now register major life events and receive the corresponding official certificates at home through NADRA’s Pak-ID mobile application, following a new agreement with the Punjab Department of Local Government. The initiative allows citizens to record births, deaths, and marriages at their local Union Councils while accessing certificates digitally, eliminating the need for repeated office visits.
Officials say the collaboration aims to improve public convenience and digitize essential services across the province. The agreement was signed by Punjab Local Government Secretary Mian Shakeel Ahmed and NADRA Lahore Regional DG Fizza Shahid.
Meanwhile, NADRA has revised working hours for its centres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the winter season. The authority has also reminded parents to update their children’s B-Forms once they turn three, which can also be completed through the Pak-ID app.
