The Government of Punjab has announced plans to establish two specialized Artificial Intelligence (AI) schools in Lahore as part of its efforts to modernize education and equip students with future-ready skills.
According to officials, the proposed institutions will focus on AI, robotics, data science, and emerging technologies, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge digital tools. The initiative aims to prepare young learners for careers in technology-driven industries and strengthen the province’s digital workforce.
Education authorities said the schools will feature advanced laboratories, modern curricula, and partnerships with technology experts to promote innovation and research. The project is expected to support the broader goal of integrating technology into Pakistan’s education sector and fostering a culture of creativity and problem-solving among students.
The move reflects the growing emphasis on artificial intelligence and digital transformation as key drivers of economic growth and educational development in the province.
