The University of Sargodha’s Career Development Center (CDC) has launched a free online Python programming course in collaboration with iCodeGuru, aiming to enhance the digital skills of students and faculty members through hands-on, practical training.
According to university officials, over 2,000 students have already registered, alongside several faculty members eager to strengthen their programming expertise.
The course, taught by professional instructors from iCodeGuru, focuses on real-world coding tasks, practical exercises, and project-based learning, providing participants with a strong technical foundation in Python — one of the world’s most in-demand programming languages used in AI, data science, and web development.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director of ORIC, commended the initiative, emphasizing that it aligns with ORIC’s mission to promote technology-driven education and career readiness for both students and educators.
