The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Balochistan arrested a man involved in taking money from citizens by promising them quick passports.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspect, identified as Abdul Malik, was caught near the Chaman passport office while leaving with several passports. He was allegedly charging extra money by falsely claiming he could speed up the passport process.
During the raid, officials recovered 13 Pakistani passports, 51 tokens, 48 data forms, 9 verification forms, and a mobile phone from the suspect. When questioned, he could not give a satisfactory explanation about the documents.
The FIA confirmed that an investigation has been launched against the accused, as part of an ongoing nationwide crackdown on passport fraud.
