Karachi police arrested a rickshaw driver after a video of him harassing a woman went viral. The incident took place in the Sohrab Goth area.
According to police, the woman bravely recorded the incident on her mobile phone, which showed the driver misbehaving with her at an isolated spot.
After the video surfaced, the woman appealed to senior officials for justice.
DIG East Dr. Farrukh Ali took immediate notice and directed the police to act. Sohrab Goth police later arrested the suspect, identified as Muhammad Usman Bangash.
Police said a case has been registered against him on charges of harassment, attempted assault, and attempted abduction.
