DERA ISMAIL KHAN – Police in Kulachi arrested a well-known drug peddler and seized hashish and heroin during a search operation on Wednesday.
The raid was part of an ongoing crackdown on criminals and was led by SDPO Kulachi Circle Inaam Ullah Khan Gandapur, along with SHO Kulachi Police Station Muhammad Aslam Baloch. Police searched the homes of drug dealers and proclaimed offenders.
During the operation, Saif-ur-Rehman, son of Muhammad Hussain and resident of Mohalla Zarni Khel, was taken into custody. Officers recovered 510 grams of hashish and 170 grams of heroin from him.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
