Emerging Pakistani actress Reham Rafiq has revealed the harsh realities faced by women in the drama industry, describing it as an unsafe and challenging environment. In a recent interview, she warned aspiring actresses to be fully aware of the potential difficulties before entering the field.
Riham stated that while competition among actresses is natural, sometimes it turns into negative behavior fueled by jealousy and rivalry. She emphasized that this problem is not limited to showbiz alone but exists across many professional sectors.
“I have personally never faced any unpleasant incident, but overall, I consider the drama industry unsafe for women,” said Riham. She urged women to prepare mentally and learn ways to protect themselves.
The actress also pointed out that the industry has people of all kinds, and it depends on individuals which path they choose. She advised newcomers to stay cautious and strong to survive the tough environment.
