Veteran actress Sania Saeed has responded to Saima Qureshi’s recent statement claiming that “there’s no blessing in women’s earnings.”
Speaking during a podcast, Sania Saeed lightheartedly remarked, “Saima’s own earnings seem quite blessed — I’m not sure why she doesn’t see it herself.”
Sania further questioned the logic behind such claims, saying, “If women’s money has no blessing, then why do men’s savings disappear so easily? Many invest in the stock exchange and lose everything — where’s the blessing in that?”
The senior actress went on to praise Saima Qureshi, calling her “a hardworking and graceful woman who has managed both her business and family beautifully — that’s what real blessing looks like.”
Sania Saeed also added that if a woman feels her earnings lack blessings, “perhaps the problem isn’t with the money, but with the company she keeps.”
She highlighted the struggles of many women whose husbands misuse their income or mistreat them, saying, “How can those women feel any blessing when their hard-earned money isn’t respected?”
It is worth mentioning that Saima Qureshi had previously stated multiple times in interviews that “women’s earnings lack blessings,” a remark that drew sharp criticism from fellow actresses. She later issued a clarification following the backlash.
