Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned recent statements made by Israeli ministers calling for the imposition of full Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom expressed its “strong condemnation and denunciation” of these provocative remarks, stressing that such actions are a clear violation of international law and obstruct efforts aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
The statement reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, their legitimate rights, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Saudi Arabia also called on the international community to take immediate action to hold Israel accountable for its repeated violations of Palestinian rights and international norms.
